Gamma Flux Project

DCypher.net, also sponsoring the CS Cipher Challenge, has begun a new project that involves your computer and the Gamma Flux Client from DCyphter.net.

Using the client and idle CPU time, much like the well known SETI project, your computer will simulate gamma ray bombardment of container walls and the effects thereof. This research is then sent to the lab and studied further by professionals.

By participating in the project, you are increasing the amount of research being done, and providing professionals with access to a greater wealth of significant information. Using your computer and sending the data via modem or other connection, the significant results are sent to the researchers without them using valuable lab times looking for them.

For more information visit DCypher.net and visit their download page to download the program. It is available for Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD.
