Beta Test PalmOS Home Entertainment Software
Centercode is looking for people to test an innovative and new software application designed for operation with a PDA and home entertainment equipment. Qualified applicants must have a PalmOS handheld with IR capability. Also required are at least two different brands of televisions that operate via remote, and multiple-channel service including satellite or cable.
Applications will be accepted through the end of the week and selected testers have the opportunity to gain premier placement in future PDA hardware and software beta tests. Testers will also be notified of all updates to the product.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have a PalmOS based handheld with IR capability
- Be willing to dedicate as much as 10-15 hours a week to the testing
- Be willing to report on a daily basis your progress with the test
- Have at least two different brands of televisions that operate on remote control
- Have at least a multiple channel service including DirecTV, Dish Network, satellite, cable, digital cable
- Be familiar with home entertainment products and have DVD players, audio receivers, TiVo, Replay TV, etc. (NOT REQUIRED)
- Have complete Internet Access including FTP, WWW, e-Mail, etc.
