Roxio to Test Easy CD & DVD Creator 7

Roxio is gearing up to test the next version of its flagship software suite for CD and DVD authoring. Easy CD and DVD Creator 7 will enter beta in October, with a final release expected early next year. Roxio is currently taking applications for the beta program via its Web site.

Beta test participants must own a CD/DVD writer, as well as a FireWire or video capture card. Testers will be asked to evaluate the software each week and provide feedback on beta builds.

The company has not said how beta releases will be issued, but Roxio required testers to download ISO CD images for the Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 beta.

Before applying for the Easy CD and DVD Creator 7 beta, applicants must first become a member of the Roxio Discussion Groups, as the message boards are used for beta discussions and release information.

To join the Easy CD and DVD Creator 7 beta test, review the full system and tester requirements and fill out the short application on Roxio's Web site. Roxio will contact selected testers via e-mail to complete additional steps.
