Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" with S Pen Android tablet comes to USA
The tablet market has gotten a bit stale lately. While Apple keeps chugging along with its innovative "Pro" iPad devices, the Android community hasn't seen much in the way of quality offerings. Sadly, many tablets running Google's mobile operating system are low-quality with scant support -- OS updates are often non-existent.
If you do want a quality Android tablet, Samsung is still cranking them out, and today it announces a new such model for the US market. The 'Galaxy Tab A 10.1" with S Pen' -- yeah, that is actually the full name -- will be in stores later this week at a very affordable price.
"The latest iteration of the Tab A 10.1 features Samsung's innovative S Pen that revolutionizes the way customers interact with their mobile devices. With improved pressure sensitivity and a ballpoint pen-like experience, the pen is ideal for everything from note taking to even drawing intricate creations. Furthermore, the S Pen can translate and pronounce any word when a user hovers over it, as well as select and animate a GIF to share with friends and family. The Tab A 10.1 also incorporates a new app, Samsung Notes, which combines Samsung’s fleet of writing apps, such as Action Memo, S Note and Scrapbook, in one location for a seamless experience", says Samsung.

The popular manufacturer further says, "the Tab A 10.1 with S Pen is packed with power with an Octa-core processor and long-lasting battery that gives users up to 14 hours of Internet time. Multitask like a pro and open two apps side-by-side so you can do two things at once. Chat while you’re watching shows or email while you’re gaming. And with a microSD card, consumers can expand their tablet's memory from 16GB up to an additional 256GB so they can keep more of the movies, photos and apps they love".

Yeah, you are reading that correctly -- it will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Unfortunately, as with many devices running Google's operating system, an upgrade to 7.0 Nougat is not guaranteed. With that said, Samsung is pretty good regarding OS upgrades, so hopefully the Galaxy Tab A 10.1" with S Pen will be blessed with Nougat in the future.
If you are interested in purchasing Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" with S Pen, it can be yours starting this Friday, October 28th, for an affordable $349. You can choose between two colors -- white or black.
