Beta Test a Personal Security System

Beta test firm Centercode is looking for technical and non-technical BetaNews readers interested in testing an innovative new personal security system. Using infrared detection, the device can be placed anywhere and provides a simple and efficient method for personal safety or protecting property.

Weighing approximately five pounds, the security system plugs into a phone line and is equipped with a battery backup in case of power failure.

Applicants must be willing to sign up for a monitoring service at no cost during the beta period and be able to test the alarm system. Testing is open to users at all skill levels, as no computer hardware or software is required.

Centercode will be selecting 20 BetaNews testers for the beta, as well as 4 non-technical applicants. Experienced users can apply on the Centercode beta test callout. The company asks that non-technical users apply by sending an e-mail to [email protected] with name and phone number.
