HyperX Cloud Stinger wired gaming headset is pretty in pink

hx-cloud-stinger-pink

Pink has traditionally been a color for girls and women -- at least here in the United States. Of course, just because it is tradition, that doesn't mean it is set in stone. These days, anybody can proudly wear the color pink -- regardless of gender -- and rightfully so. If you like the color pink, nobody should make you feel bad about that.

Today, HyperX (now an HP company) launches a special pink variant of its popular Cloud Stinger gaming headset. Yes, this affordable headset for gamers can now be had in the same color as Pepto Bismol or bubble gum.

Romantic,Time.asian,Homosexual,Couple,In,Pajamas,Shopping,Online,With,Computer

Windows 11 may be the name of the upcoming version of Microsoft's desktop operating system, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the number ten. For instance, one of the most popular Linux distributions, Debian, currently sits at version 10 (Code-named "Buster").

Actually, taking the number ten even further, Debian 10.10 is now available for download. Yes, this is the tenth point release of the tenth version of the wildly popular operating system. Those that believe in numerology may see significance in this versioning. Current Debian users should update their packages immediately, as 10.10 is chock full of important bug fixes and security updates.

Silicon Power launches Superior Gaming microSDXC card for mobile gamers

Micro SDHC Outline

Every once in a while, a manufacturer will release a memory card that is branded for gaming. Consumers often wonder if there is anything different about these cards that will truly benefit gamers. The answer is largely no. A storage card that is designed for gaming is really just marketing hype. Sorry, but it's true.

With all of that said, today, Silicon Power launches what it calls a "Superior Gaming" microSDXC card. While it is intended to be used for the Nintendo Switch, it should also be a good choice for mobile gamers using an Android phone or tablet. The card will, of course, also work with any device that uses such a card, including Raspberry Pi, drones, digital cameras, and more.

Win a $500 gift box or other valuable prizes with Tronsmart's 8th Birthday giveaway!

Birthday

Over the years, many new tech brands have come along, largely thanks to Amazon. Yes, consumers have discovered a lot of brands on that website, one of which is Tronsmart. This is a company I first discovered through Amazon, usually from taking a chance on one of its affordable Bluetooth speakers or headphones. Over time, I learned that Tronsmart products weren't just reasonably priced, but high-quality too. Seriously, folks, its Bluetooth speakers (found here) are superb.

I suppose Tronsmart isn't so new anymore, as this week the reputable brand has an 8th birthday! Jeez, the company was founded in 2013? Time really flies! To celebrate this monumental occasion, the company is running a really cool giveaway where there are several prizes to win. The top prize is a gift box valued at over $500. Wow.

Satechi releases Slim X2 Bluetooth Backlit Keyboard for Apple iPhone, iPad, and Mac

SATECHI_X2_Keyboard_13

Last year, Apple released new Mac computers powered by the company's own M1 processors. Not only were there new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops, but a new Mac mini desktop as well. More recently, Apple released a new M1-powered iMac too. I was fascinated by the new Apple Silicon processors, so earlier this year, I bought my very own Mac mini. Guess what? It is a phenomenal computer that I love very much so far.

The problem with the Mac mini, however, is it doesn't come with a keyboard or mouse. This is by design, as Apple hopes Windows users will replace their current desktops with the little Mac -- simply reusing existing keyboards, mice, and monitors. Unfortunately, a Windows keyboard is not ideal for a Mac. Will it work? Yes, but it doesn't have the exact same keys, such as "COMMAND." And so, Mac mini buyers would be wise to buy a Mac keyboard.

Tecra-A50_US_angle_3

When you need a true professional Windows laptop, I know there are many makes and models to consider, but I urge you to take a look at Dynabook. That company's Tecra line in particular is a well-balanced blend of power, durability, and elegance. These productivity workhorses never disappoint, and in my experience, they last a very long time.

Today, Dynabook unveils its 2021 Tecra A Windows 10 laptops -- the 14-inch Tecra A40-J and 15-inch Tecra A50-J. Other than screen and body size differences, the A40-J can be equipped with a touchscreen while the A50-J cannot. Meanwhile, the A50-J keyboard has a number pad, while the A40-J does not. They both have Wi-Fi 6, dual Thunderbolt 4, dual USB-A, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro SD card reader.

KLEVV launches CRAS C720 and C920 PCIe NVMe M.2 SSDs

CRAS_C720_C920

The transition to PCIe 4.0 is in full effect, with more and more computers and motherboards having the new standard. Whether consumers truly need the benefits of PCIe 4.0 today is debatable, but it is still cool regardless. After all, it is important to continually push boundaries.

Today, KLEVV launches two new PCIe NVMe M.2 solid state drives. Called "CRAS C720" and "CRAS C920," the former uses PCle Gen3 and the latter utilizes the faster PCle Gen4. In other words, the company is providing options, allowing consumers to choose the speed that best meets their needs (and budgets).

Should you download Microsoft Windows 11?

A,Mid-age,Man,Contemplating,A,Decision,While,An,Angel-daughter,Whispers

Earlier today, after weeks of rumors, Windows 11 leaked to the web. No, I don't just mean images and videos were shared early -- the actual operating system itself became available for download! It is a bootable ISO file. This not only confirms what the next version of Windows will be called, but it made it possible for anybody to install the operating system early.

While you can download Windows 11 right now, the real question, of course, is should you do it? Before we discuss the morality of doing so, let's be very clear -- it is foolish to download and install a closed source operating system from non-official sources. Obviously, if you aren't getting it from Microsoft directly, it could be full of malware and other bad stuff.

Razer Blade 14 (2021) is a shockingly svelte gaming laptop powered by AMD Ryzen

Razer-Blade-14-2021-1

Hardcore gaming laptops are usually big and heavy -- unwieldy beasts with poor battery life and even worse portability. While that is often the case, it is not always. Case in point, today, Razer re-launches its Blade 14 laptop, and while its power is downright godlike, the laptop is surprisingly svelte and light -- it is just .66-inches thin while weighing only 3.92 pounds.

The 2021 edition of the Razer Blade 14 is powered by the insanely powerful 8-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series mobile GPUs. It comes with a 16GB of (non-upgradeable) DDR4-3200MHz RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD. Believe it or not, despite the hardcore specifications, Razer promises up to 12 hours of battery life. Obviously, battery life will vary wildly depending on usage.

Logitech launches new limited edition Design Collection wireless mice

M325-Himalayan-Fern-Gold-BTY

Every so often, Logitech releases special limited edition versions of its M325 portable mouse. What makes these variants, or “Collections,” so intriguing are the rare designs. Believe it to not, some consumers even collect these mice!

Today, Logitech launches the latest Design Collection and there are seven styles from which to choose. It is important to note, the M325 is a very basic mouse -- it uses a replaceable AA battery (rather than something rechargeable), it has no side buttons, and there is no Bluetooth -- it only uses a USB-A receiver. On a positive note, it will work on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Apple launches Dr. Dre-inspired Beats Studio Buds with active noise cancellation

Beatswhite

Beats by Dre headphones are revered around the world for their great looks and high sound quality. They are also very much respected by the Hip-Hop community as the "Dre" in the brand refers to Dr. Dre -- one of the greatest record producers of all time. Since Apple bought the brand, it dropped the "by Dre" making them simply "Beats." With that said, Dr. Dre's soul and inspiration will forever live on in the products.

Today, Apple launches the Dr. Dre-inspired "Beats Studio Buds." These are notable for offering active noise cancellation at a very affordable price. Despite being an Apple product, the company promises fast Bluetooth pairing with both iPhone and Google's Android! Beats Studio Buds offer a maximum of eight hours of listening time on their own, but the case will fully charge them twice, effectively increasing this to 24 hours. Nice.

Microsoft Xbox Mini Fridge can keep your Mountain Dew or underwear cold for long gaming sessions

Xbox-fridge

Gamers drinking Mountain Dew is sort of a cliché, but it is based on reality. People that play video games often drink that soda due to its high caffeine count. Taking things even further, many gamers chug energy drinks these days too. Why do they do this? So they can both stay alert and stay awake longer -- it allows them to play their games well into the the night.

Believe it or not, I have also heard of some gamers refrigerating their underwear. This is done in the summer months as a way to keep cool during gaming marathons. When they are feeling particularly sweaty in their crotch area, they can change into chilled underpants for relief.

Galaxy-Book-Go_US-Keyboard-3

Want to know a secret computer manufacturers don't want you to know? Look, don't tell anybody this, but... most consumers don't need to spend $1,000 on a computer. Hell, most folks don't even need to spend $500. Because let's be honest, the majority of home users only open a web browser and do all their computing on the web. Yes, for most people, modern home computers largely exist as a way to run a web browser. If you don't think that is true, you are fooling yourself.

This is why Chromebooks are so popular these days. But what if you want an operating system a bit more capable than Chrome OS, such as Windows 10? Well, there are plenty of inexpensive laptops running that OS too. For example, earlier this month, we told you about the super-affordable Galaxy Book Go -- a low-cost ARM-powered laptop from Samsung. Well, as of today, you can finally buy it!
