How mobile payment adoption can pick up speed
Despite the fact that consumer awareness of mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay is growing all the time, the use of mobile payment solutions in the United States and Canada has so far been low. In fact, in both markets mobile payments account for only 3 percent of all transactions.
While the two payment landscapes are very different, there are similar reasons why the result has been largely the same. By the same token, there are also common factors that could see mobile payments explode in both markets sooner rather than later.
One in three Salesforce professionals want to find a new job
A third of Salesforce professionals probably won't be working at the same company in a year, according to a new report by Salesforce recruitment organization Mason Frank. The report, which the company released at Dreamforce in San Francisco just recently, says 35 per cent of Salesforce professionals admitted the desire to switch, which is five per cent up compared to last year.
They're mostly interested in bigger pay checks (62 percent), but also say this is the best way for them to get a promotion (60 percent). More than half (55 percent) want a fresh challenge, a third (38 percent) say their current employer lacks leadership and vision, and another third (33 percent) say they aren't pleased with their work environment. Another third (32 percent) are interested in working with Salesforce’s latest software and features.
Emoji are works of modern art
The headline is not a personal opinion -- it's the view of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Just around the corner from Trump Tower, MoMA is home to works by the likes of Dali, Lichtenstein and Warhol. Now they have been joined by the original emoji designs from the 1990s.
The 176 emoji are the handiwork of Shigetaka Kurita, and the "12 x 12 pixel humble masterpieces" are now on display alongside the works of other great artists. Emoji changed the landscape of communication, and their addition to MoMA recognizes this.

Microsoft's new Surface Studio is an impressive but pricey all-in-one PC
At its Surface event, Microsoft today introduced not only an updated Surface Book but also an all-new all in one PC called Surface Studio. Facebook introduces PayPal integration in Messenger app
In an effort to make it easier for users to pay through its messaging service, Facebook has added PayPal as a new payment option in the Messenger app.
The deal between the two companies will allow customers to use PayPal when shopping through Facebook Messenger -- and they will even be able to use the service to pay for items purchased through merchants' chatbots. The online payment service had added that it will also be making it easier for users to link their PayPal account to their Facebook account.
