Toshiba announces value-focused Satellite Click 10 hybrid mobile PC
Hybrid computers are great value, as they allow you to have a tablet and laptop in one. Unfortunately, some devices are flawed in their design. I absolutely adore the Surface Pro 3, but it is impossible for me to use on my lap. Believe it or not, I do a lot of writing in my car (when parked), by resting a laptop on my steering wheel. I can't do this with a Surface.
A smarter option, I think, is to have a tablet connect to keyboard using a hinge, in a classic clam shell design. There are plenty of computers with this configuration and today Toshiba announces yet another. What makes the Satellite Click 10 stand out, however, is the low price and gorgeous keyboard. ASUS VivoStick is a $129 miniature Windows 10 PC rivaling Intel's Compute Stick
ASUS is following in Intel's footsteps by unveiling a miniature Windows 10 PC, that is not much larger than a USB flash drive. Unveiled at IFA 2015, VivoStick is designed to be connected to an HDMI-enabled monitor, quickly turning it into a fully-fledged PC.
VivoStick is not all that different to Compute Stick in this regard, but the former is a better option in terms of hardware specifications and price, being advertised to cost just $129 when it goes on sale.

As far as the hardware vendor community is concerned, the demise of Windows 8.x signals End of Life (EOL) for your systems.

If you are looking to either build or buy a gaming desktop, and money is no object, you want Intel processors. Its chips offer the best performance by far, although you usually have to pay to play. Comparatively, AMD's processors can be less powerful in some areas, but offer great value for the money.

Intel Compute Stick with Ubuntu finally available from next week
Forget desktops and laptops, the future of computing appears to be flash drive-sized sticks that you plug into a TV or screen. Quite a few companies are making these now, including ARCHOS, Lenovo and Intel.
Intel's Compute Stick, which comes with either Windows 8.1 or Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on board, was first announced six months ago, with the Windows version going on sale in April. It’s taken a while, but Canonical announces the Ubuntu version will finally be available globally from next week, priced at around $110.
Microsoft launches new, cheaper Core i7 Surface Pro 3
While we await news of the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft has revealed another model to the Surface Pro 3 lineup. The latest addition is a Core i7 model, bringing the total number of Surface Pro 3s featuring this version of Intel's processor to three.
In all there are now six Surface Pro 3 models to choose from, and the new Core i7 model makes it cheaper to jump into the higher end of the range. While the new model features the same processor and same 8GB of RAM as the very top of the Surface Pro 3 range, storage has been dropped to 128GB to help keep the price down.
