Blue Icepop is a microphone upgrade for Logitech G PRO and Astro A40 headsets

It feels like just yesterday that Logitech bought Blue Microphones, but believe it or not, it has been about three years already! In that time, Logitech has integrated Blue technologies into some of its products, such as the G PRO X gaming headset.

And now, in a synergistic move, Logitech is launching a special "Blue Icepop" microphone upgrade for its own Logitech G PRO headset and the Astro A40 headset. If you aren't familiar, Logitech also owns Astro Gaming. This product is rather clever -- I never thought of upgrading the removeable microphone on an existing headset, but it totally makes sense.

Logitech unveils Zone True Wireless and Zone Wired earbuds for business

Working remotely is no longer a temporary anomaly due to COVID-19. Instead, working from home has become a movement where employees aim to take control of their lives. For instance, workers are saving money by not buying gas for their cars, but more importantly, the lack of a commute means more personal time. Employees can also sleep later rather than sit in traffic.

If you are working form home, I highly recommend investing in quality webcams and audio equipment. If you want to stand out in a meeting, you should be both seen and heard clearly. You don't want to be known as the person that is hard to see or understand.

Logitech launches LINE FRIENDS Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard Combo

The Logitech K380 Keyboard and M350 Mouse Combo is a very simple and elegant solution for controlling multiple devices. The keyboard can be paired to a Windows PC, Mac, and iPhone, for example, and then you can easily switch between them by pressing buttons -- no need to pair again every time. It is particularly great for those that dual boot on a single machine, such as with Linux and Windows.

The keyboard and mouse are quite cute already -- they have rounded keys and can be had in either pink or white colors. But now, Logitech is making them even cuter. You see, today, the company launches LINE FRIENDS variants, featuring the BROWN and CONY mascots form the popular LINE messaging app. If you aren't familiar with the bear and bunny rabbit, don't feel bad -- they are apparently far bigger in Asia than America.

Logitech G335 is a wired gaming headset for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile

Hardware that is designed for gamers can be expensive. This is because gaming gear is often built to higher standards. Of course, it can also be artificial price increases, as manufacturers know gamers aren't afraid of disposing of their income.

Thankfully, not all companies are intent on taking advantage of gamers. Logitech, for instance, offers quality products at various price points, allowing gamers to have good gear without breaking the bank. Today, Logitech launches its latest wired gaming headset, and it is designed to be affordable. Called "G335," it is compatible with PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.

Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case turns Apple iPad Air (4th gen) into a proper laptop

If you want the absolute best tablet computing experience, you have to get an iPad. Are there good Android tablets? Sure, but iPad is simply better than them all. There's a reason the Android tablet market has largely dried up -- consumers don't really care about them. Trust me, y'all; Apple created magic with the iPad.

While iPad can technically serve as someone's only computer without any added accessories, it does shine when you connect it to a keyboard case -- particularly one with a trackpad. With one of these cases, you essentially turn the iPad into a makeshift laptop. Like Microsoft's Surface Pro tablets, however, balancing the kickstand on your actual lap while typing on the keyboard might be a bit frustrating.

Logitech launches new limited edition Design Collection wireless mice

Every so often, Logitech releases special limited edition versions of its M325 portable mouse. What makes these variants, or “Collections,” so intriguing are the rare designs. Believe it to not, some consumers even collect these mice!

Today, Logitech launches the latest Design Collection and there are seven styles from which to choose. It is important to note, the M325 is a very basic mouse -- it uses a replaceable AA battery (rather than something rechargeable), it has no side buttons, and there is no Bluetooth -- it only uses a USB-A receiver. On a positive note, it will work on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Logitech Rugged Combo 3 Touch transforms Apple iPad into ultimate laptop for education

Want to know a secret? Kids do not want to use a clunky Windows 10 laptop for education. Instead, they will much prefer devices they are familiar with, such as Chromebooks or the iPad. Apple's tablet in particular can make learning more fun, as it simply feels more exciting. Kids just love Apple's iPad.

With the right accessory, the iPad tablet can become quite the capable laptop too. And no, you don't need an iPad Pro to have a proper laptop-like experience. For instance, the Logitech Rugged Combo 3 Touch will transform the "regular" 7th or 8th gen iPad into the ultimate laptop for education, while simultaneously protecting it from drops up to 4.5 feet. It has both a trackpad and a keyboard, plus it connects using the smart connector pins -- no Bluetooth or external power needed.

Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case turns 2021 M1 Apple iPad Pro into a legit laptop

If you want the absolute best tablet computing experience, you must get an iPad. Are there good Android tablets? Yes, but iPad is simply better. There's a reason the Android tablet market has largely dried up -- consumers don't really care about them. Trust me, folks, Apple created magic with the iPad.

While iPad can technically serve as someone's only computer without any added accessories, it does shine when you connect it to a keyboard case -- particularly one with a trackpad. With one of these cases, you essentially turn the iPad into a makeshift laptop. Logitech Voice M380 Wireless Mouse with Speech Input is exclusive to China

When is a mouse not just a mouse? When it has a dedicated voice button, apparently. In collaboration with Baidu, Logitech is launching an all-new mouse which features such a button. Called "Voice M380 Wireless Mouse with Speech Input," Logitech's newest product is exclusive to China and is priced at 199 RMB -- that's equivalent to about $30 here in the USA.

It appears to have no thumb buttons, but it does have both vertical and horizontal scrolling -- a feature I adore for working with large (particularly wide) spreadsheets. Besides the off-white color seen above, it will also be available in graphite and rose.

Logitech discontinues Harmony remotes

Harmony remote

It is the end of an era: Logitech has announced that it will no longer produce its Harmony range of universal remotes. The company says, however, that the decision to discontinue production of the devices will not affect current owners, as support will continue.

No reason has been given for the decision, and the remaining stock of devices will remain on sale until the entire inventory is gone. Just don't expect any refunds or compensation.

Logitech launches G333 wired USB-C gaming earphones

Bluetooth headphones are very cool, but they have a huge problem -- they run on batteries. And so, while people seem happy to invest in expensive wireless options like Apple AirPods, when they run out of power, they can leave the consumer feeling quite foolish. Why? Because "old school" wired headphones never had this problem.

Sadly, many smartphone manufacturers have done away with 3.5mm audio jacks, making it harder than ever to use traditional headphones. Logitech wants to cater to fans of wires, however, as the company today launches the G333 wired USB-C gaming earphones with integrated microphone.

Logitech Circle View Doorbell only works with Apple HomeKit

Video doorbells are friggin' awesome. For my home, I rely on the Arlo smart doorbell and I couldn't be happier with it. Arlo's offering was very easy to install, but more importantly, it lets me know when there is any activity at my front door, such as food delivery people, packages, the occasional nighttime raccoon, and more. For a few dollars a month, I can even save recordings to the cloud.

Of course, not all video doorbells are the same. For instance, you should avoid Amazon's Ring Doorbells as there are too many privacy red flags surrounding it. While Arlo is great, another respected company is getting into the doorbell game. You see, Logitech has launched the Circle View Doorbell, and it looks like a solid product. Unfortunately, it only works with Apple HomeKit, meaning Android users should look elsewhere.

Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT wireless gaming mouse is shockingly light

The weather is finally getting colder -- do you know what that means? We computer nerds and PC gamers don't have to feel bad about staying indoors while playing on our computers. During the spring and summer, you can sometimes feel bad about playing video games all day instead of enjoying the weather. In the fall and winter, however, it is totally justified!

You know what else is in the winter? Holidays like Christmas and Hanukkah. This means you can ask friends and family to buy you new PC hardware as gifts. It is the perfect time to ask mom or dad for a new keyboard or mouse, for instance.

Logitech launches affordable ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball

When it comes to pointing devices, most people use trackpads or mice. And for the most part, consumers are happy with those two options. With that said, there is a small number of computer users that prefer a different device -- a trackball. These things look like mice, but rather than navigate by moving it around a surface, you manipulate the mouse pointer by moving a ball.

Unfortunately, there aren't as many trackball options compared to mice, so for those that prefer the former, it can be hard to find a product that meets their needs. So whenever a new trackball is released, it is pretty big news. Today, Logitech launches a new such product, and it is very affordable. Called "ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball," it is designed to be ergonomic and accommodate various hand sizes.

Logitech launches affordable Z407 Bluetooth 2.1 computer speakers

The speakers that are built into laptops or integrated into computer monitors have gotten much better over the years, but make no mistake, they still don't provide an optimal audio experience. Whether you are watching movies or listening to music, investing in superior speakers will certainly make your life much more enjoyable.

The great thing is, solid computer speakers don't have to break the bank either. Today, Logitech launches the Z407 Bluetooth 2.1 computer speaker system, and it is priced well under $100. What makes these particularly cool is that the two satellite speakers can be positioned horizontally or vertically, making them fit well on almost any desk.
