Corsair to acquire Fanatec Sim Racing

Corsair has announced its plan to acquire the Fanatec Sim Racing brand, a key player in the racing simulation industry, from Endor AG. The deal, structured as an asset purchase, is expected to finalize within the coming week. Fanatec, which operates out of Landshut, Germany, specializes in a wide array of Sim Racing products, including advanced force feedback steering wheels, pedals, shifters, and other accessories designed for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. CORSAIR unveils NIGHTSABRE Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse and K65 PRO MINI Keyboard

Today, CORSAIR unveiled two new PC gaming accessories -- the NIGHTSABRE Wireless Gaming Mouse and K65 PRO MINI Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
The NIGHTSABRE wireless gaming mouse, with its symmetrical design, satisfies all gamer preferences while providing comfortable, pro-player performance. CORSAIR EX100U USB-C SSD is fast and tiny

Solid state drives make great internal boot drives for computers, but they are wonderful options for external storage too. Not only are they smaller than mechanical hard disk drives, but they use less power and are much quicker as well. Quite frankly, if you are someone that needs to transport data on a portable drive, you'd be crazy to still use a HDD with moving parts.
Today, CORSAIR launches its latest portable solid state drive. Called "EX100U," the tiny SSD offers very fast performance thanks to its USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 interface. It can achieve read speeds up to 1,600MB/s and write speeds up to 1,500MB/s. Corsair lists Windows and Mac compatibility, but it should work perfectly fine with Linux-based operating systems too, including Ubuntu, Chrome OS, and Android. Yes, it should be compatible with iPadOS as well.
CORSAIR K100 AIR wireless mechanical keyboard is shockingly thin

Mechanical keyboards are rather wonderful, but they are typically very tall and chunky too. The keys are often quite high, leading to wrist and/or finger fatigue for some users. While I love the feedback and accuracy of some mechanical keyboards, I often appreciate slim offerings such as Apple's Magic Keyboard.
What if a keyboard could offer the best of both worlds, however? Could a keyboard use premium mechanical keyswitches while also being super slim? Apparently, yes. You see, the all-new CORSAIR K100 AIR is a mechanical keyboard that is shockingly thin.
Gamers can fart into CORSAIR's TC200 gaming chairs while playing games

What is the purpose of a chair? Well, it is primarily designed to give your legs and back a break from standing. It works by cradling your buttocks and providing support for your back. Many people use chairs daily, for things like relaxing, working, and more.
Believe it or not, some companies even sell chairs that are specifically designed for playing video games. Called "gaming chairs" they often have a specific "racing" aesthetic that appeals to young men. Of course, women can use them too.
CORSAIR MP600 PRO XT M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD has an enormous heatspreader

The transition to PCIe Gen4 is currently in full effect. More and more computers and motherboards with the new standard are being released all the time. Whether or not the average computer user truly needs the benefits of PCIe 4.0 is debatable, but it is still cool regardless. After all, it is important to continually push boundaries.
As you can imagine, one of the best aspects of PCIe 4.0 is faster solid state drives. Today, CORSAIR launches its latest such SSD. Called "MP600 PRO XT," the M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD is insanely fast. To keep it cool and maintain its speedy performance, it is equipped with an enormous heatspreader. Seriously, folks, that heatsink is quite the chonky boy!
CORSAIR releases KATAR PRO XT gaming mouse

Do you ever get tired of the flashy designs that many gaming products have these days? I know I am personally fatigued by it sometimes. Look, I enjoy RGB lighting and computers that look like alien spaceships as much as the next guy, but sometimes I crave a more conservative design style.
And that is why I am very intrigued by Corsair's newest gaming mouse. Called "KATAR PRO XT," the device has a no-nonsense design that makes it appropriate for an executive's desk without being entirely boring. Best of all, it is very affordable -- you will be shocked by the low price.
CORSAIR launches MP600 CORE and PRO M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe solid state drives

Solid state drives are one of the best computing innovations in years, as they provide a huge performance boost without breaking the bank. By simply upgrading from a mechanical hard drive to an SSD, your computer will feel brand new. Best of all, SSD manufacturers are not resting on their laurels, but instead, continually pushing performance boundaries.
Currently, PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs are all the rage with enthusiasts, and today, CORSAIR launches two new models -- the MP600 CORE and MP600 PRO. There is even a "Hydro X Edition" variant of the latter, which utilizes water-cooling to reduce temperatures.
CORSAIR SCIMITAR RGB ELITE gaming mouse has a dozen thumb buttons

Last year, we told you about the Logitech G604 LIGHTSPEED -- a gaming mouse with six thumb buttons. For many folks, a half-dozen thumb buttons would be overwhelming. Well, today, CORSAIR launches a mouse that is even crazier than Logitech's. The "SCIMITAR RGB ELITE," as it is called, has a dozen thumb buttons!
The number of buttons (there are 17 that are programmable) isn’t the only exciting N.H. thing about this wired mouse, however. Also interesting is it’s impressive 18,000 DPI and customizeable RGB lighting. Oh, and it looks really cool too!
CORSAIR announces Force Series MP600 NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 SSD

Storage drive speed has been greatly increasing over the past several years. It is remarkable to think how far we have come from slow mechanical hard drives thanks to the solid state drive revolution. We are at the point where SATA-based SSDs are considered "old hat" -- it is the faster NVMe PCI Express (PCIe) drives that are all the rage these days.
Earlier today, AMD unveiled its new third generation Ryzen 3 processors, and with them, the brand new X570 chipset for socket AM4. The exciting aspect of this new chipset generation is the addition of PCIe 4.0. The fourth generation of PCIe will be markedly faster than the prior gen, allowing even faster solid state drives. And yes, a company (CORSAIR) has already announced one (MP600).
CORSAIR launches K83 Wireless Entertainment Keyboard for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and more

Navigating media and playing PC games from your couch, bed, or reclining chair can be quite tedious. When searching for a movie on Netflix, for example, it is very annoying to enter text with a remote control. Sure, there are voice search options, but it would be much nicer to use a keyboard. If you want to a play a PC game in your living room or bedroom because your computer is hooked up to a TV, using a keyboard and mouse on your lap is damn-near impossible. Instead, you have to pull out a table or something similar. Ugh. What a clunky experience!
Today, CORSAIR launches a new product that should make it much more comfortable to both play PC games and search for media while in front of your TV. Called "K83 Wireless Entertainment Keyboard," it also includes a touchpad, meaning there is no need for a mouse. It even includes an analog joystick! This one device can be used for both gaming and media. Best of all, it is reasonably priced too.
